Planning a portrait session in Turks & Caicos is a wonderful way to capture meaningful moments during your vacation. Below are answers to the most common questions about portrait sessions.
How do I book a portrait session?
Booking is easy. Contact us with your preferred dates and our team will help you through the process, suggest the best locations, and schedule the perfect time. We recommend booking as early as possible, especially during peak travel seasons.
What types of portrait sessions do you offer?
A range: family portraits, couples sessions, engagement photos, maternity, and individual. Many clients book during their vacation to celebrate a honeymoon, birthday, anniversary, or graduation.
Where are the best locations?
Stunning backdrops everywhere: the world-famous beaches of Grace Bay, quiet stretches of sand, tropical pathways, and scenic resort and villa locations. We recommend the best spots based on your style and the look you want.
What should we wear?
Light, neutral, or pastel colors photograph beautifully on the beach, and coordinating (rather than exactly matching) is a nice look. We send you a 15-page What to Wear Style Guide when you book to take the guesswork out.
What time of day is best?
Late afternoon near sunset, or in the morning. We can suggest an ideal time based on your group's size, children's ages, or logistics like dinner reservations.
How long does a session last?
About an hour, depending on the session type and group size. That gives plenty of time for natural, candid moments along with beautiful, posed portraits.
What if it rains?
The weather is usually beautiful, but if it rains we'll work with you to reschedule for another day during your stay whenever possible.
How many photos will we receive?
After your session we go over your photos together and select your favorites. Typically 70 to 100 photos, depending on session length and group size.
Can we order prints, albums, or wall art?
Yes. We specialize in transforming portraits into beautiful artwork for your home. Our products are made in the U.S. and come with a 100% guarantee.
Do you help with posing?
Yes. We give gentle direction during your session so you feel confident, comfortable, and natural, and we send helpful guides and tips beforehand so you know what to expect.
