We don’t just

How Paradise Began
When Christine stepped away from her legal career in Washington, DC to pursue photography, she was following more than a passion. she was following her heart.
Little did she know that decision would lead her to more than beginning a new career. It would lead her to meet her husband James Roy, the owner of a successful Maryland-based studio whose artistry, dedication, and vision matched her own.
Together, their shared love for storytelling through imagery blossomed into a partnership in life and business. United by creativity and a dream of living on an island, they brought Paradise Photography to life, blending their award-winning talents into a studio rooted in artistry, romance, and intention. This husband-and-wife team is proof of what it means to follow your heart and see where it leads.
Photography is more

After university, she worked in marketing and events for yacht charter company on Sydney Harbour in Australia. It was at this point that her love of photography rapidly began to emerge.
Alex moved to St. Lucia with her husband, and then on to Turks and Caicos in 2013 where she worked as a wedding and event planner for a resort group. Alex loves working with people and so transitioning to full time photography was a natural progression.
